These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions” ) govern the use of www.embraceyourlife.com.au (the “Website”) and any goods and services obtained. This Website is owned and operated by Lauren Michel, owner and founder of ‘Embrace Your Life - Clinical Nutrition’, who is a Clinical Nutritionist, Life and Health Coach and Naturopathic Emotional Release™ Practitioner and holds ABN 98229073460.
By using this Website, you are indicating that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times. You agree that use of this website is at your own risk.

All content published and made available on this site is the property of Lauren Michel and the Website’s creators. This content includes but is not limited to text, images, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the make-up of this website.
Restriction of Age
The minimum age to use this site and nutritional services is 18 years of age. By using this Site, users agree that they are aged over 18 years of age. We do not assume any legal responsibility if you provide false information regarding your age. Any person under the age of 18 years must have parental/guardian permission to book or use any services available.
Acceptable Use of this Website
By using this website, you are agreeing to only use the website legally and not use this website for any illegal purposes. You also agree to not to violate the intellectual property rights of the Website owners, Website Creator or any third party to the Website. If I/we believe that you are using the Website for illegal purposes or in a way that violates these Terms & Conditions, I/we reserve the right to terminate or limit your access the the Website. I/we also reserve the right to take any legal steps necessary to prevent your from accessing this Website.

In the event you create an account on this Site, you agree to that you are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account - including passwords or sensitive information attached to the account. You also agree that all personal information you provide to us through your account is up-to-date, accurate and truthful and that you will update any personal information if it changes.
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using the Site illegally or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
Sale of Services
These Terms and Conditions govern the services available on/or directed from to the booking website HealthBank or other third party services. The following services are advertised on this Website: Clinical Nutrition/Nutritional Medicine Consultations, Functional Medical Testing and Naturopathic Emotional Release ™ Consultations. These Terms and Conditions also govern any other services that may be offered in the future on this Website including digital products, packaged services, online courses, workshops and retreats.
You agree that these services for Nutritional Medicine and Naturopathic Emotional Release™ consultations will be paid in full 24 hours before the scheduled consultation or immediately on booking if booked within 24 hours of the scheduled consultation. For other services including future digital products, packaged services, online courses, workshops and retreats, full payment must be made when the order is placed. Third party services including credit card fees, supply of supplements and functional medical testing must be made in accordance with the suppliers terms and conditions and I am not liable for any issues or disputes that you may have with them.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all the goods and services that are displayed on our Website at the time you access it. All information, descriptions or images that I provide about the goods and services are as accurate as possible. However, I am not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as I cannot guarantee the accuracy of all services that I or any third-party supplies. You agree to purchase services from this Website at your own risk.
I/we reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order or booking whenever it becomes necessary. If I need to cancel your order or booking and have already processed your payment, I will give you a refund equal to the amount paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.
I/we reserve the right to amend the offered services and prices at any time. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Third Party Goods and Services
This site may offer goods and services from third parties. I cannot guarantee the quality or accuracy of goods and services available by third parties on this Website and I will not be liable for any disputes or disagreements you have with any third-party.
Free Discovery Call
I offer a complimentary no-obligation 15 minute Discovery Call to prospective clients to give you an opportunity to speak to me, via video link or telephone and see if my services are suitable for you. At the conclusion of this free call, or sometime in the future you may book a 90-minute Initial Nutritional Medicine Consultation and/or a 45 minute Naturopathic Emotional Release™ Consultation at the fees advertised or informed.
For Nutritional Medicine clients the 90-minute Initial Nutritional Medicine Consultation must be booked and take place before any referrals for further functional testing, dietary or lifestyle recommendations or scripts or supply of nutritional supplements or any other information can be supplied.
Bookings
All bookings for Nutritional Medicine and/or Naturopathic Emotional Release™ Consultations must be made through the HealthBank website or App and are made under that website’s Terms and Conditions.
Payments
All payments for Nutritional Medicine and Naturopathic Emotional Release™ consultations must be made through and abiding by the Terms and Conditions of the HealthBank website or App.
Payments for other services, functional health testing and supplements must be paid directly to Lauren Michel by direct debit (details supplied when necessary), or other specified payment gateway, before the service, testing or supplement is ordered through the third party supplier. When payment is required to be paid directly to the third party, payment must be made in accordance with the conditions of that particular supplier of goods or services. Lauren Michel and her affiliates/employers/contractors will not be responsible for any dispute that arises between the user and the third-party supplier.
When you provide me with your payment information, you authorise my use of and access to the payment instrument that you have chosen to use. By providing me with your payment information, you authorise me to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.
If I believe that your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, I reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.
The fee for consultations will be charged to you 24 hours before the scheduled date and time the consultation is to take place directly via telehealth on the HealthBank platform.
Refunds for Services
Cancellations or rescheduled appointments for consultations must be actioned directly through the HealthBank website or app. Cancellations cannot not be made through social media channels or via text message.
You agree that if you cancel or reschedule your scheduled appointment less than 24 hours before the scheduled time of the appointment/consultation you will only be refunded 50% of the total of your consultation fee and forfeit the other 50% of the fee.
If you fail to show/attend (in person or online) for a scheduled and paid consultation you will forfeit the entire consultation fee.
Consumer Protection Law
Where the Australian Consumer Law, Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation.

The Website contains links to third party websites or services that I do not own or control. I am not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party website or service linked to on this Site. It is your responsibility to read the policies of these third party websites before using these sites.
Limitation of Liability
Lauren Michel and any affiliates/employers/contractors will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of this Website.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Website you indemnify and hold harmless Lauren Michel and affiliates/employers/contractors from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of this Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of the State of Victoria, Australia.
Additional Terms
Lauren Michel or any other contributors to this Site will not be held responsible for any errors in content or any information contained on this website. The information on this website is provided as general information and is the opinion of the owner and should not be viewed as medical or health advice. The user acknowledges that every person is unique and it is not possible to determine in advance how a person’s system will react to certain foods, drinks, supplements or dietary products that may be discussed or recommended. The user is responsible for obtaining the advice of a suitable medical or healthcare practitioner before actioning any advice or information provided on this Website.
